UPCOMING MEETINGS, CLASSES & EVENTS

Wednesday, January 28th: Mid-Week Hebrew starts at 5:00 pm; Kol Simcha Choir rehearsal starts at 7:00 pm.
Thursday, January 29th: Tikkun Olam Retreat begins at 10:00 am (off-site).
Friday, January 30th: Kabbalat Shabbat service begins at 7:30 pm. Music: Kol Simcha choir with Seth and Frankie. Oneg: Eric and Roberta Naimark and Cindy and Mark Vanderwaart, in honor of their present grandchildren and those who will be born this spring.
Saturday, January 31st: Contemplative Shabbat service in Dave Hall begins at 10:00 am.
Sunday, February 1st:
Religious School starts at 9:30 am; Adult Education starts at 10:00 am;  Kadima/Confirmation begins at 12:15 pm.
Monday, February 2nd:  Ritual Committee meets at 4:00 pm.
Tuesday, February 3rd: Rabbi's Liturgy class starts at 6:30 pm.
Wednesday, February 4th: Kol Simcha Choir rehearsal starts at 7:00 pm.
Thursday, February 5th: Sisterhood Board meeting begins at 2:00 pm
Friday, February 6th: MANNA Backpack Project meets at 1:00 pm (off-site); Kitah Family Shabbat service and Birthday Blessings, Gimmel/Dalet Shabbat, begins at 6:30 pm; Music: Seth and Isaac.
Sunday, February 8th:
Religious School starts at 9:30 am; Adult Education starts at 10:00 am;  Kadima/Confirmation begins at 12:15 pm. Jewish Meditation group meets at Congregation Beth Israel at 1:30 pm; "Why We Need to Remember," a presentation on the slave trade in Asheville, begins at 3:00 pm in Dave Hall.
