CBHT is a Welcoming and Accepting Community
“Jewish Diversity in all its hues, is a wave – it is the ocean of Jewish life.”
April Baskin, URJ VP Audacious Hospitality
Congregation Beth HaTephila is committed to being a “home” for all.
A central premise of our Congregation is being a temple that embraces diversity and respects the dignity and uniqueness of each individual and family. By practicing audacious hospitality, the core of which is inclusion, we encourage dialogue and understanding, mutual regard and acceptance of differences.
We strive to eliminate any barriers to full participation and welcome all: Jewish families, interfaith families, multi-faith families, individuals, Jews of any color, LGBTQIA and those with any disability.
Inspired by the tenets and practice of Reform Judaism and enriched by the diversity within our Community, we endeavor to provide an environment of mutually supportive relationships and engagement in temple life. Whether with or without children, single, married, or life partners, CBHT is strengthened by your presence and participation.
It is this sense of communal connection that epitomizes Congregation Beth HaTephila.
