Toby Koritsky Named New Education Director

The Board of Directors is excited to inform our congregants that after an extensive national search, CBHT has a new Education Director beginning July 1! Toby Koritsky, who was recommended by the Selection Committee and approved by the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees, has accepted our offer to serve Congregation Beth HaTephila.

Toby brings over 20 years of experience as Director of Education at a number of Reform congregations. Most recently, Toby was at Temple Sinai in Cranston, Rhode Island, where she held the Education Director position for six years.  Prior to that, she held similar positions in Massachusetts and Minnesota.  She began her career as an educator and then a counselor for the deaf.  She later attended both Brandeis University and Hebrew College to earn her credentials in Jewish Education.

When Toby visited our congregation and religious school in March, everyone found her to be warm and engaging, and extremely knowledgeable and intuitive about leading religious school programs.  We feel very fortunate to have her joining our professional team at CBHT.  Please make sure you all warmly welcome Toby to our CBHT family!
