About Us
Founded in 1891 and affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism since 1908, Congregation Beth HaTephila is a contemporary, mid-sized and growing Reform congregation. Here you will find a welcoming, vibrant, inclusive and inspirational atmosphere.
We are a community which embraces the diversity inherent in modern day Jewish life and provides the opportunity for all to become fully engaged in our CBHT Family. With a recently expanded and refurbished building, we are able to offer multiple opportunities to connect with each other and build meaningful relationships as we worship, learn, and grow together.
Our Shabbat and Holiday services, led by Rabbi Meiri and augmented by our Sacred Music Team, are filled with the beauty of our Reform liturgy, and a sense of spirituality, reflection and connection.
Exciting learning experiences are available to all ages. Our comprehensive youth education and engagement program meets the needs of those from 0-18 years. There are multiple opportunities for our adults to participate in lifelong learning experiences, from Jewish yoga to Torah and beyond!
Tikkun Olam is a basic guiding principle and value of Congregation Beth HaTephila and activities related to its practice are led by our Lotte Meyerson Tikkun Olam committee. Sisterhood, Brotherhood and a myriad of other volunteer activities support our community and provide multiple avenues to enhance your life at CBHT.
There is so much more we would like to share with you! If you are seeking a Congregation of relevance, a sense of family, fulfillment and belonging, please visit us, join us at a Shabbat Service or contact us at any time!
You will soon discover that "You're at Home Here!"
