Caring Community Circle
Caring Community Circle
The Caring Community’s vision is to support and care about one another as congregants and participate fully in our WNC-Asheville area community. Our purpose is to make a positive impact on the lives of you and your family by creating and providing a personal touch that enhances well-being and inspires connection.
Our Caring Community Circle supports congregants as they face some of the most difficult of life’s challenges, whether this is grieving a loss, welcoming a new child, facing acute illness, or living with a chronic health challenge. We are here to help you or that someone special you care about.
If you have would like to volunteer, please consider joining us on one of our Caring Community Teams:
- Bakers and Meal Trains
- Bikur Cholim (Caring for the Sick)
- K’hilah (Caring through Connection)
- Knitters and Crocheters - Prayer Shawl directions
- Nechama (Consoling the Bereaved)
- Chevra Kadisha (WNC Jewish Burial Society)- Guide to Death & Mourning
- Simchas (Celebrations)
Caring for one another is our obligation. The Torah commands us to perform g’milut chasadim- acts of loving kindness. If you are in need of support, contact our executive director, Buffy, at the temple office by calling (828) 253-4911.
