High Holy Day Donation
Please Contribute Support for High Holy Day Services
For most of us, we usually know what to expect for the High Holy Days. We expect to be at temple. We expect to be together with our community. We expect to look deep within while the shofar echoes around us. And we will still do of all of these things this year but in a totally new way for the times we are living in. Welcome to an unusual High Holy Season. Doing the usual in unusual ways.
If you have been following what CBHT has been doing during this pandemic, you know we have tried many ways to keep our community connected to services and to each other. We have moved the heart of our Jewish lives online and we’ve been so inspired by how many people we are reaching, members and guests, during these times.
All of this comes at an extraordinary cost both financially and in the exceptional time it takes to make all the magic happen. You all keep showing up and we want to keep showing up for you. And because of this, we are doing another unusual thing by allowing our High Holy Day services to be open to anyone who wants to participate.
We are doing this by trusting that those of you who appreciate this gesture will make a financial donation, in the same way you have previously bought tickets during this season to come to our services.
So please, we are asking that you make a $360 donation, or a donation in an amount that feels meaningful to you, as a way to support the programs and services we are providing. We are ever so grateful and appreciate you being a part of our growing community.
Shanah Tovah.
