Thank you to Sisterhood from Social Action Co-Directors

Recently we asked Sisterhood members to contribute to the Ashville Poverty Initiative (API) to help with meals for the Asheville homeless population residing at a West Asheville motel which is being used as a large shelter.  Do to COVID 19, meals need to be served individually wrapped.  Sisterhood raised $1,153!

The entire amount has been given to the API for needed meals.  We are overwhelmed by your generosity and caring.

Upcoming Event- Sunday, July 19

Nurturing Community in the Time of Covid  Sunday July 19th 10:00am Our CBHT Caring Community Circle Co-Chairs Channah VanRegenmorter and Cindy Feiler along with Rabbi will be leading a discussion of what we can do to nurture community. They will be using Zoom with small group and larger group activities.
