Tikkun Olam Shabbat Friday, May 21st

On Friday, May 21st at 7:30 PM, the Lotte Meyerson Tikkun Olam Committee will be assisting in Shabbat services during which we will recognize our B’nai Mitzvot students for their Mitzvah projects aimed at bettering our world. Most of the 2020-2021 B’nai Mitzvot students will present at the LMTO Shabbat, via a video clip, about their Mitzvah project or about the challenges of becoming B'nai Mitzvah during this Covid year. All students will receive a "chai" honorarium and a certificate. We are honored and grateful that Marty Gillen will be taping and editing this segment of the service.

In addition, we recognize the B'nai MItzvot of the previous year, whom we were unable to honor last year at this time due to the beginning of the pandemic. Their Jewish study and their efforts in their Mitzvah projects are deeply appreciated.
